Lifestyle photographer—analog workings behind the scenes
Portrait photography—end of the role with Minnie

Nikon F4/Fomopan 200
I often like to snap away with an analog camera for behind the scenes whilst shooting digitally for clients. Fast and fun with on camera flash with a role of black and white film loaded in my tank of a camera the Nikon F4. What’s not to like. Minnie was working with the art department on a recent shoot and I managed to take a few snaps of her on her break.
End of the role shots have such a raw and fun quality to them, I can’t believe its not more of a trend on instagram. I love Minnies style and look so it was great to grab these shots but this was my particular favourite. Analog shots have such a warmth to them that I just think digital often lack. The warmth of vinyl analogy is used a lot to describe film and think it is a great comparison but to me its more about the lenses, modern glass is made to be super sharp with no flaws which makes everything look the same.
