Minolta CLE/Fomopan 200
I’ve worked with Sarah before in L.A. She’s just got a great look and an easy vibe about her. Luckily she came to Europe during the pandemic and during a slower period it was great to catch up with her and shoot some personal portraits. The pandemic was an interesting time to explore parts of London that I’ve never seen before and find new interesting spots. This was one of those times.
During our session it was great to play around with a few film cameras I love, Minolta CLE, Mamiya 6 and my trusty Mamiya 645Af. I shot some Portra 400 and Fomopan 200 and seeing how film reacts differently to light than digital. I really love playing around with simple stories the place where a lifestyle photographer intersects with a portrait photographer, this shot was taken from a more playful end to the session and is one of my favourites. Thanks Sarah.
