In the summer I had the pleasure of working closely with Tony De Ste Croix at the creative agency Heavenly, in the beautiful setting of Carlyon Bay in Cornwall. The brief, to deliver sophiscated and understated lifestyle photography for a new housing development on a brownfield site at Carlyon Beach.
It was a crazy and intense few days, but the energy and the spirit of all involved made it one of the creative highlights of the year. Tony and the whole team were amazing to work with and with such a great brief the final images evoke an elegant soft and understated mood which is really refreshing for lifestyle photography in the property development sector.
Thanks to all involved and all the extra hours—a special thanks to:

In August I had the pleasure of working in Los Angeles again, shooting an ad campaign for Xerox. Before leaving I managed to squeeze in a quick personal project. I love concrete in low light and I came across the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown LA. Thanks to Diego at Next Model Management I was able to organise a quick shoot. I wanted to capture iconic lifestyle portraits working with a strong black and gold colour palette.
Thanks to all involved and a special thanks to:
A personal lifestyle project shot on location in London—three girls catch up and make a mix tape for someone they like, kind of!
With big thanks to:
A free afternoon and a chance to shoot a small personal project in Laurel Canyon Los Angeles.
With thanks to:
Sarah Wullinger and Trever Noble for taking the time to work with me. Noel Jean and Chiron Cole simply for everything. A final special thanks to Andrew Glover for the whiskey, coffee, curry and Fuji Lenses!
A big thank you to Riann Steele, Tristan Rockcliffe and Chiron Cole in helping make this unusual lifestyle shoot possible.
Whilst editing all the pictures for my new website I came across some old photos that brought back some fun memories of working in Los Angeles on a car lifestyle shoot. The model in all the shots is Olanna Taskey.
A very fast turnaround test portrait shoot for a potential client. Photography takes you to some really unusual locations. Tom lives within a gated community right next door to Brixton Prison, a really interesting place.
Before the end of 2012 I started working with Robert, John and Ed at undercurrent brands on developing lifestyle photography for CBS Outdoor. CBS Outdoor provide assets for advertising space across Europe. We started the project with a test day. The concept was incredibly simple, to capture beautiful portraiture of people looking off camera engaged in advertising. The portraiture is all about suggestion which I love, it creates a real intrique to the work.
